Frozen river near my house, started wearing my gloves the next day. I thought the black dog in the white snow was nice, pity the snow was not that this.

03-01 CEZANNE – PICASSO – MONDRIAAN

Ansobel and I went to the Gemeente Museum in The Hague today. We had to fight our way past pensioners and their grand kids.

Luckily I had been playing Modern Warfare 2 on the Xbox so I knew exactly how to avoid the pensioners without alerting the guards. Ansobel alerted a guard by touching one of the 'art' forms, she might need nice practice time on the xbox before our next outing.

Anyhow I think the cross processed results are very interesting.

My old man was kind enough to let me scan all his old slides, so I spent the day indoors doing just that. the first photo is my lx of the day, the rest are my dad's photos.

 

01-01 Nieuwjaarsduik

The morning after.


























I went to the annual Katwijk ´nieuwjaarsduik´ in the north sea. Instead of taking my swimming trunks I decided to take a warm coat and the LX.









Considering I just got the camera a few days ago I should be very happy with the results. Focusing was really hard because the 50 1.7 lens has a very long focus travel at time I was just not fast enough.

The last photo is from our new years party at Frodo and Monique´s house.

Yesterday I received my Pentax LX! Seems to be working well and in very good condition. I loaded a film and the very first picture was another beast of a machine...a landrover defender!

Lets hope my LX can keep going for the entire 2010..
